The West Orange Arts Council is pleased to announce the latest art exhibit in the Art Center Galleries--“3 Women… 3 Perspectives” featuring the art of WOAC board members Amelia Panico, Lisa Suss and Heidi Sussman. Each of the three women offers her own distinctive perspective which shows a diversity of subject as well as a wide range of process.
Located at 551 Valley Road, West Orange, on the same block as Luna Stage, the show will open on April 28 and be on display through May 28. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 28 from 5-7 pm. Read full article...
The Friends of the West Orange Library is hosting a gala from 5:30-7:30 on Sunday, April 30, to celebrate its one-year anniversary, the completion of the façade repairs and to show off the new community space. WOAC has been asked to exhibit members’ work in the new space for the occasion.

This intensive, hands-on course will guide you in creating your own professional artist website with a beautiful design, clean and compelling content, with shopping cart option. Squarespace is a powerful, easy-to-use web platform designed with artists and creative entrepreneurs in mind. This is a great workshop for those starting from scratch on their sites, or looking for extra training on a Squarespace site they already have. More than just a tech class, the workshop will help you create the content every artist website should have.
Your website will include: Home page, Portfolio(s), Artist Statement, Artist Bio, Blog, Contact. Optional: Artist Resume/CV, Links page, shopping cart if you want to sell through your website. Requirements: Basic computer literacy, such as ability to use email, web, Word, etc. You will also need to bring a laptop and power cord to the workshop.
